Proposal
For this 20% time project, I am going to learn how to bake. I don't even have a rudemenary knowledge of baking. I think this will be a good project for me, because not only is it useful, but it is also fun. I will use my classtime to look up potential recipies for me to try. My goal is to gain enough skills in baking to be able to serve to people. I think that is the mark of a successful baker. I am not worried about time management like I was with my previous project, but I am worried about acquiring ingredients, and the cost of those ingredients. However, I'm excited to see what I can accomplish this semester.
Proposal
For this 20% Time Project Rerun, I plan on working on a business where I can shop and sell my own/previously own/brand new shoes. I think this is going to be worthwhile because I may even create a business out of something I enjoy doing (collecting and selling shoes). I plan on making a website and instagram page.

20 % Time Proposal
For the second half of the year, I am choosing to learn how to exercise properly on a regimented program. After I decided to not play a sport for my Senior year, I noticed a negative change when it came to exercising. Basketball was my stress reliever and now I don't really have a way to dedicate time to myself. What better way than exercise? It was something that was really important to me at one point and I lost sight of that. Having this be a project is a great way for me to get back on track and live my life the right way. I plan to use my time in class to do research on volume training, cardio, and other techniques that are going to help me stay fit. I am also going to use this time to organize my schedule so that I have everything planned accordingly. I am really looking forward to beginning this journey and I cannot wait to start seeing some results. I have everything I need to be fit and more so I really have no excuse when it comes to working out. My mother and I recently joined a gym. I have been feeling extremely motivated lately which is definitely a great starting spark for the rest of this project.
Proposal
My proposal for the second half of the year for 20% Time is to manage and run a blog. The blog would consists of posts about political, economic, and social issues. It would allow me a creative outlet to release all the information I absorb on a daily basis, applying my knowledge into something lasting. Hopefully, it will help me become a better writer and it feeds into my interests and my chosen major, political science. It will be a project that will keep me engaged as a second semester senior, and will have tangible progress. I don't want to put a specific number of posts I'd want out in a week, as some will likely be much more involved in terms of details and research, but at least 1 a week is a fair benchmark. I would post the blog posts on some website, and use familial connections and social media to try and advertise the website and get as many views as possible. I'm excited for where I can go with this project, as I know I have a writing flair and the ambition and know how to make this work quite well. Still, there are areas I can improve on when it comes to fully fleshing out ideas on issues, and this is where the project will help me the most; to fully formulate opinions based on facts.
EDIT: The skills I would hope to improve on would be my general knowledge of politics, economics, and social issues. I would also like to improve my writing skills and ability to summarize information effectively and succinctly. I will hope to see to these goals accomplished through my research and repetition in writing.

Proposal
For this new 20% Time, I want to learn how to cook and bake. I've always had a slight interest in baking, but I only baked simple things like chocolate chip cookies for bake sales. I absolutely can't cook unless its pancakes and eggs. I hope to improve upon my baking skills and take them to a whole other level. I also want to be able to cook a variety of meals for my family and friends. Of course, I would use the help of my mom to guide me in this journey. My initial plan is to create a food blog to post all of the things I make and make weekly posts, though this is still pending. It sounds like a really great idea and is good for keeping everything organized. At the end of this project, I will show the class my food blog and the progress I made. I decided to do cooking/baking for my next 20% Time because it will be useful for me in the future, especially college, and is a way to provide for my family. It will be a good way to give my mom a break from cooking everyday once I know how to cook on my own. Another reason is that I'm obsessed with watching a lot of cooking and baking videos on Youtube, but I never actually make the food. This is my chance to put all the time I spent watching these videos to good use. I believe that this will be a really fun pastime and stress reliever. This is also helpful for Relay for Life, because my team has a lot of bake sales. I can be able to contribute a lot more to the team with this project. The expenses of this project would be going out to buy the ingredients every week, but I think it will be worth it. I've always watched my mom cook, and I think that this will be a good way to know how to cook Filipino (my heritage) food and connect with my culture. I can work on this project both in school and outside of school, though it will mostly be outside. In class I can look up a bunch of potential recipes to make and bookmark them. I will also try to manage my time better than the last 20% and make sure to stay devoted each week. I can't wait to start this project and gain weight from all of the food I'm going to make haha~ Wish me luck!
Proposal
For this semester, I would like to continue knitting. My goal last semester was to become familiar with the basics of knitting and to create a scarf, a fairly simple project. Accomplishing this goal motivated me to take on some harder projects. There is a lot about knitting that I still don't know and by the end of this semester, I would like to be able to knit a sweater. To do this I will have to use skills I already learned, but also put a lot more time into researching and creating this piece of clothing. Each week, I will work on knitting a part of my sweater. I already know how time consuming knitting can be, so I will be able to manage my time a little bit better. I'll also use my time to watch videos, read articles and look at other knitting blogs. Most of the materials I need for this project will be very similar to the things I used before. I'll need yarn, needles, and measuring tape. I'll have to look for good quality yarn and probably need to buy different sized needles as well. I'm looking forward to starting this new project.

Intro to Humanities
My second semester 20% Project is going to be me learning to bake and cook many new things. My project is inspired by Papa, although I plan to take a different route then he did. I have past experience with cooking and baking, but with college around he corner and life about to start a new chapter, I think it is time I learn to cook enough support many people. Usually when I cook, it is only for myself, but I'd like to expand my talents. My final product will be multiple mastered dishes and desserts shown either by picture or in person. In order to be successful, I must learn how to follow a recipe, instructions, and make everything look appetizing. I plan on making something new every week and might even put together a little recipe book.
I am excited to cook and bake. This project does not seem too difficult and I wish I was stepping out of the box more, but I had no other ideas. My family will be necessary for this project. The hard part will be time. Finding the time to sit down and make something new every week. This project might also help me fundraise money for relay if I sell some of the bake goods I create.
When considering time management, I can work on my project both in and out of the classroom. I can work mostly on this project outside of class, but in class I can search for recipes and new things to make each week. Outside of class, I can do the actual work. I may not have a lot of free time, but I do always make sure I get my work done. I am excited and plan to be very successful in this second 20% project.

Week 16
Well this week I've taken a break. I focused on the presentation aspect of my project. I did some strength training though. I also ran a quick 2 miles today just to keep running and keep the feeling of running alive. I also have been pretty good with the diet plan. Besides the coffee, and it being midterm week, I've been drinking water only , with lemon for some good all natural
Vitamin C. Also since it snowed I didn't feel like running but the shoveling was exercise enough.
I'm so glad I took on this project. It's unbelievable to think I've come so far. I didn't expect it, I didn't think I've had it in me. I can't wait til my marathon and look forward to continue growing in anyway running helps me grow (bettering my time management, continuing my diet plan, muscle tone , etc).

Final Reflection #16
Well, I almost forgot to do this again but luckily I remembered. This will be my last reflection for my 20% Time Project. At first, learning German was difficult as it would be for learning any other language. But as I progressed and practice more, it became easier to understand and memorize. I now understand the difficulties other people go through to learn a new language. I also learned planning skills to balance between things this project and other school work which was hard. Although it was hard to learn, I really had fun do this project and I look forward to doing it again

Reflection 16
Well I completely forgot I even had to do this, but I guess this is it, my final reflection. I actually really enjoyed these past few months, and I'm really proud of myself for accomplishing my goal. I learned how to knit and I made my own scarf to wear. I'm so glad that I chose knitting as my project because I found something that I actually really like to do. It's something that I'd like to continue with next semester and maybe make something even better. I learned a lot about patience, practice, and time management that I'll definitely use in other parts of my life. It's been real.
Final Reflection Week 16
This is my last and final week for my 20% Time Project. I have had a great time with working on this project. I met so many new people, friends, work out partners, and so many others especially during the Pink Run. I also plan on running in the Color Run with my friends and family in this year to come. I need to decide however if I am going to continue this during the second half of the semester or not. I enjoyed this project but I would like to expand my interests in the second half of the 20% Time Project. Thank you very much for introducing this project to me.
Reflection 15
So this marks one of my last weeks for my 20% time project. I'm still working on my Mile Run however to get me ready for Spring Track. My diet plan is still doing me good and I plan to keep working during Spring Track and even after Spring Track.

Reflection Week 16
Christian
In the beginning stages of the 20%
Time Project, I often felt confused as to what I should do next. Whether I should
go out and take a few more pictures, or I should read up a little more on the functionality
of my camera was beyond me. As the project progressed, I did too. Photography
gave me a sort of schedule to go by. I made sure I had time to pursue
photography at least once a week, every week. By doing that, I had to plan
around other things such as schoolwork, sports, and time to myself. I learned
to put aside some time for all of those things, and so far, it has made Junior
year a whole lot easier!

Final Reflection
Whether this gets credit or not is beyond the point. I feel an obligation to do this, even if I am late. Which is story of my life. Being frank, if I knew what I know now about 5 months ago, I wouldn't have undergone this skill. It really wasn't nearly as rewarding as I thought it would be. I had false visions going into the whole process; that I'd pick up really fast, that I'd be proficient at it, etc. But really, it was just overwhelming, tedious, and hopeless at times. What I wouldn't give up from the whole experience was how much I learned about the entire music making process. The knowledge I have now helps me further appreciate the beautiful music my favorite artists make, and that's priceless to me. It's even change the way I completely hear music at times; I'll notice sounds I never thought much of before, imagine the creation of the song, listen for finer details. This project held shine a light on all the incredible complexities involved in making a song. Going forward, I want something that for better or worse, tangible benefits and products would be easier to see and make.
Final Reflection
During this 20% time, I have been able to learn a lot and reflect on the process more than the final product. However, it was still nice to finally have a tangible product to show my classmates about what I have been dedicating my time to. During the presentation, it was very funny and special to see the reactions of the viewers and the engagement my classmates had after I presented my process. The lessons I’ve learned in this project such as having backup plans, time management, and being creative will help me in the future. It was a rewarding experience. For my future 20% time I hope I can learn as much as I did for this one.
Reflection 15
The last few stages of putting my animation together has been more stressful as my files have been crashing and none of my plans are working. Plan A was to just use subtitles, but then I reverted to Plan B of inserting clips of myself into the story to make it flow. When Animatron did not work or support the video I had to revert to Plan C of using voiceovers to still include that spice of my storytelling aspects. I'm glad I was able to think of methods to fix the new problems that arises from unexpected situations. An important skill I learned from being a leader to always think quickly on your feet, think of new methods that are available, and always prepare in advance. it became very evident in this project because my first goal changed so many times in order to meet the final product. I'm very excited to show this in my presentation.

Final Reflection
This 20 percent time project was actually really fun, and I was able to achieve my goal. I learned how to HTML code even better than I thought I would. I was able to make a website I'm really proud of. I learned a lot about myself and how I need to work on time management. Although I did have fun with HTML coding, I don't think I would continue with this for next semester. I'm not sure how I would be able to change it up and keep it interesting for the next presentation. I am glad that I was able to do this 20 Percent time project and I cant wait for the next semester.
Final Semester Reflection
This 20% Time project has been a great experience for me. Playing the guitar was a really fun activity that I will for sure continue to do. My original goal was to learn how to play guitar and also show a final video of me playing a song, but in the end it leaned more towards playing the one song. Although my project had its ups and downs, like a wrong start, poor planning, and procrastination, I still did reach my goal in the end. I at first didn't have the motivation to keep going, but in the end I did find true enjoyment in playing guitar and plan to keep it that way. I can now successfully play Wonderwall by Oasis so now I feel like I can play anything (on my level haha). This 20% was great and so I'm looking forward to the next.
FINAL SEMESTER REFLECTION
My 20% time goal was to be able to cook 4 meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I have not been able to achieve this goal, however I feel as though it is on the right course for success. The foods that I have learned up until now can serve as a good basis to expand upon and create a lot of different variations of. For instance white rice has endless potential because of all the different stews I can learn to create to eat with it. Therefore, if I choose to continue cooking as my 20% time project I can still reach my goal without any issue. Hopefully, I will make this decision by the conclusion of next week.

Final Semester Reflection
My 20% goal was to create a blog post for two days out of the week every week until it was time to show our presentation to the class. I usually made one post out of the week, but I did have some week where I created two. WordPress has been a great platform for me to share my opinions on things happening currently, and I'm glad I got to use it. Although I was sometimes nervous about sharing my work with others, gaining positive feedback was really important to me and I really appreciated it. I felt good about my presentation; I got to share my progress with the class. I will most likely continue blogging for the next 20% project, since it will be helpful in my future career.
