Reflection #4


Obstacles: Last week, I had to figure out how to create animations that follows the rules of gravity and anatomy. It was very funny how even the smallest gesture I make requires a lot of muscle and body collaboration to create a smooth movement. After figuring out joint points and rotation movement, I set off to create more frames.

A new obstacle that I face will be the deadline and deadline and tedious work required to create a few seconds of drama. I spent around an hour and half to create the first 5 seconds of the cartoon ( which can be viewed below). Some factors will come into play such as it's my first few practices with Animatron. Hopefully as I get use to the program, I can make more content faster.

What I learned: I never appreciated the hard work that comes into a simple movement that animators from Pixar and Disney has been doing for decades. I was able to appreciate the beauty because of the effort that I'm experiencing.
