Week 1 Reflection

This week, although it was the first week of my 20% project, actually marks the third week that I've been running. The difference is, this week has been extremely cold. I was able to reach 5 miles on Wednesday, but with the rain and cold air throughout the week, my goal was not met for those days. I've been have difficulty with my breathing, as I predicted. I am often discouraged before my run but afterwards, I feel a lot better. I'm excited to keep pushing myself and keep reaching my goals. On the days when we had the storm, I ran on the treadmill and found it was a lot more challenging not being able to adjust my speed as I please, so I think I'll stick to running outside and slowly training my body to adjust to the cold air.
