REFLECTION CUATRO

This week I gained experience in grilling burgers and hot dogs. I gained this experience by volunteering to help at harvest festival. Therefore instead of my mom supervising me it was a parent who specialized in grilling burgers and hot dogs. We began by setting the charcoal alight and placing the grill tray over it. Then we placed the burgers on and flipped each patty when we decided it was appropriate until the patty no longer secreted a pinkish liquid. Then we moved on to the hot dogs where we just turned them until all sides were cooked. This was my first experience involving grilling and I believe that it will assist me if I decide to grill another meat because I learned that while grilling whenever the meat secretes a lot of the pink liquid you should flip it. Therefore the secretion of the pink liquid serves as an indicator that you should flip the meat. By flipping at the right time it you avoid the meat being undercooked or burned. I feel as though I did a fine job and in the future I wish to roast chicken.

  3. Interesting reflection, I remember when it was my first time learning to grill. It was a fun experience and good to learn because when you get older it would be a good to know how to do something like that in case you decide to have a BBQ yourself one day.
